Scrap365 March Sketch Challenge

For some time I have been looking for the perfect sketch for this very special picture of my grandfather and some handwritten papers I had used to keep score while playing Bones (dice) with him during a camping trip when I was 11 years old. This Scrap365 sketch was the perfect solution!

The 5×7 size of photo of my grandfather suited this sketch wonderfully, and the multiple layers allowed me to throw in a lot of different textures and features. This was an important feature for me to include; a representation of all the amazing facets of my grandfather’s life. I was also able to tuck those score sheets from our dice games that I have treasured for 20+ years already in behind as one of the layers in a pocket I made with some of the pattern paper.
