The Lion and Unicorn

The lion and unicorn represent the United Kingdom. The lion represents the England and the unicorn Scotland, and both are in the Royal Coat of Arms of United Kingdom. By extension, these same interested animals also appear in our (Canada’s) coat of arms. Seemed only fitting they deserved a place in our Scotland scrapbooks!

The sketch is based on the great challenge this month from Stuck?! Sketches; they have a way of creating sketches that allow you such freedom to tuck and embellish your page to your heart’s content. This way of scrapbooking … laying down the major elements and then tucking and adding all manner of fun stuff in and around … is my favourite way to scrap!
