Stash Bustin’!

How’s your paper stash these days? Bursting at the seams? Tame and tidy? No matter, every paper stash is a good paper stash.  😉  Big or small, I think we can all agree that every so often, a little stash busting is in order. I love to flip through my papers and look at the lovely pieces I’ve kept for years … and then put them back. Seriously. It’s silly. I need to get these beautiful patterns on pages and into albums. So let’s go!

I almost always have a pile of papers on my desk that I want to use. So the first step to making that happen is to choose papers and cardstock to go with each. That way, instead of random papers, I have partial kits.

I started with the kit in the bottom left today. I pulled some small cards from my stash that I got in a pocket letter swap and the colour scheme of those October Afternoon and Pink Paislee papers looked like a good fit.

Here’s a look at how the layout came together.

And here’s the finished page.

Thanks for hanging out! Yours in scrap-happiness,

  1. Tame and tidy? Ha love that! My stash is tidy but not tame.. I am more of the “clearly organized yet completely overwhelmed” variety. You layout looks awesome, and the video walk though is great. I need to know how you bring together papers from different collections – I don’t have that vision/skill! I could do so much more with my stash if I could.
